BROADSIDE! Privacy Policy

BROADSIDE! is a single-player mobile game published by IndieBen ("we", "us", or "the developer"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android version of the game.

Information stored on your device

BROADSIDE! stores game progress, unlocks, settings and the current run locally on your device. This information is not sent to the developer. You can remove it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

The game does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts or precise location.

Advertising

BROADSIDE! uses Google AdMob to display interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process information such as your IP address, general device location derived from the IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information and device or advertising identifiers. Google may use this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game uses Google's consent platform to present advertising choices before requesting ads. When required, a Privacy settings button is available in the game's settings so you can review those choices.

Where age-based advertising treatment is required, the game may use a neutral age screen. Users identified as minors receive age-appropriate, non-personalized advertising treatment.

Advertising choices do not affect locally saved progress. Rewarded ads are optional. The core game can continue without an internet connection, although advertisements will not be available.

Age audience

BROADSIDE! is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Data security and retention

Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. The developer does not operate a player database for BROADSIDE! and does not retain gameplay or account data on a server.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the game's features, advertising providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a material change is made.
